My Mentor

Dr. Dwayne Paschall graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Disorders from Baylor University in 1989, and a Ph.D. degree in Human Development and Communication Sciences from the University of Texas at Dallas in 1995.
From 1996 to 2015, he worked as an Associate Professor and Researcher at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, developing computational models of speech stream segregation, while understanding the role of cognitive processes that support sensory and perceptual processing as well as single speech stream in the presence of competing messages. In his time at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, he also became a Data Scientist to explore private equity trading separately and develop automated trading strategies and machine learning models at EOTPRO Developments Inc. Since 2018, he has been an Associate Fellow and Data Scientist at IDEXX Laboratories where he ​​researches, designs, implements, and validates cutting-edge algorithms using new statistical & mathematical methodologies to analyze diverse sources of data.
This year, in my journey in ISM 2, I have been very fortunate to receive the opportunity of being a mentee under Dr. Paschall and his guidance with his extensive experience and deep knowledge of Data Science.
