All Busy Again...

Last week in our yearly Thanksgiving Break, I was able to take a much-needed resting week. Over the weekend, I contacted a few more professionals for interviews for future mentorship as we get closer to the 2nd semester of the ISM program. I am heading in the right direction in terms of my Original Work project, as I have started using the Hugging Face library on Tensorflow to build example projects for learning purposes this semester, specifically in text prediction as one of my first portfolio projects. I plan to utilize this learning towards my mentorship experience and Final Product this upcoming semester.

In these final four weeks of this first semester in ISM 2, I hope to finalize my mentor and gain the experiences and learning I need to excel and complete my Original Work successfully. I will transition towards researching some of the already-established projects and demo videos from companies such as Google, which have a large variety of resources on using natural language processing algorithms such as transformers effectively. In this, I will learn about the integration of language technologies with business case scenarios to maximize the benefits of the algorithms in the real world.
