Having implemented the machine learning concepts that I learned in the past few weeks into my Original Work, I was able to make significant progress last week, and I hope to finish up my Original Work by the end of this week. I have already ideated and created approaches to three projects, with my programs underway for two of them. I have been using the Hugging Face library and Tensorflow to determine how I could solve the problems of machine translation, text classification, and text generation. I was able to see the concepts that I researched in-depth come to life with code, and I hope to use this extensive learning process in my Original Work towards creating a Final Product in the second semester with the guidance of my future mentor.
Besides my Original Work, I have also made significant progress on my Display Board this year for the yearly ISM Showcase at the Star, and I think my last year's work has greatly benefited me in terms of the planning of my presentation. I also think that this winter break will provide me with a great opportunity to pursue my goal of finding my ISM 2 mentor, and I think I will be much more prepared to present my Original Work in January with the time.
So see you next week, same place, same time.
