Last week, I watched tutorials over the general concepts of computer vision and natural language processing (NLP). I was able to gain a general idea behind each of the concepts and the different parts that work behind the field. I also was able to view code samples as well as get an understanding of what the code does and how it does it. Furthermore, I learned about how I could analyze the data that is normally used to train NLP and computer vision models. This has helped me gain a better understanding of the concepts and I continue to learn more about how I can implement these concepts in platforms such as TensorFlow or Pytorch. I am also planning to start reading some books, or eBooks, or just scholarly articles to learn about the specifics of the algorithm behind Computer Vision and NLP.

Also, in my last week’s interview, I learned that by continuing to explore these fields and about the programming behind them, I would learn the most about machine learning and hence will be more successful in mastering and applying it to my final product and original work. Thus, I am continuing my courses and other forms of research to finally start creating a project in the next 1-2 weeks. So see you next week, same place, same time.
