Excited to start my search for final product ideas!

This week I plan to research many ideas for my final product that could prove to be useful in our community. After my discussion with Mr. Womack, I plan to get a deeper understanding of the problems near me that I can relate to and establish my own impact in. Furthermore, I hope to get some input from my friends, family, teachers, and other students on if there are any specific problems that I can address using my knowledge of machine learning. I also plan to conduct some interviews this week and next week in order to finalize my mentor soon this upcoming month and start working on my final product with their guidance and support.

Some of the topics that I plan to research during this time are problems in education for students and teachers, problems in awareness including topics of mental and physical health, and other problems that are related to a need for automation. I really want to find areas where I could implement my machine learning knowledge and create a useful platform such as an app, website, or a particular software where it could be used in the real world. To fulfill these ambitions, I will also be exploring some more complex machine learning algorithms to dig deeper into the tools I can use to address the problems that I will find.
