Finalized my final product proposal!

After completing my research over several different ideas for machine learning projects in computer vision and natural language processing, I was able to determine what I can create in ISM this semester to create my own impact as well as strengthen my learning in machine learning! I had several ideas that I had to choose from: text summarization to summarize the most important elements of lengthy documents and converting them to audio files for better productivity, hand gestures project to use hand gestures to conduct basic tasks on devices and using voice recognition to fulfill those tasks effectively such as writing emails, conversational chatbots to help counselors answer basic and more specific questions over a period of time to increase their productivity and save time, and image translation or neural analysis that could convert images into different styles using computer vision methods.

After discussing with my mentor, Dr. Athitsos, I decided to move on forward with the hand gestures project for my final product as this will enable me to get direct guidance from my mentor as he specializes in computer vision and will also demonstrate my own impact to make tasks easier in the real world. Currently, I am trying to finalize my product proposal and will start working on this product idea very soon!
