During the past week, I was formulating my proposal for original work on machine learning algorithms, specifically deep learning (neural networks). I also got an opportunity to interact with an AI professional at Google discussing new trends in the AI industry as well as particular fields that a beginner like me could focus on. During my phone call with the professional, I learned that I could really go deep into the theory for neural networks and apply them to fields such as natural language processing, image recognition, and even improve some basic supervised learning models with this theory. Thus, I continue to strive to work on the course I am currently doing for learning theory and I also plan to learn these algorithms through books/eBooks and other online articles. I have also been exploring during the past week and this week about different projects that I can recreate from scratch or learn projects as case studies that can help my knowledge.

My goal for this week is the same as last week to dig deeper into complex algorithms such as neural networks. Furthermore, I am trying to also reach out to other professionals this week for interviews to gain more knowledge about my field of deep learning. So see you next week, same place, same time.
