More Research...More Interviews!

This week I plan to connect with more professionals in the field of natural language processing to find interesting ideas for my original work proposal and the resources I could use to understand machine learning on a deeper level. I have started contacting university professors and machine learning researchers this week and potentially have one interview in the upcoming few days. I aspire to obtain 3 more interviews by the first two weeks in November to start thinking about mentorship in ISM. Furthermore, I also want to understand how I could use the HuggingFace library to create natural language processing projects.

I will also look into working with video tutorials and corporate resources in Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and Google machine learning courses. This way I will be able to start learning the practical aspect of natural language processing by observing the theoretical concepts in actual projects, simulations, and graphs. Moreover, this newfound understanding will help me decide on my original work proposal and the possibilities I want to explore in machine translation, voice recognition, text styles, and text prediction. I also hope to expand my networks with other ISM students as I bring in their perspectives on my original work proposal and use multidisciplinary interests in the applications of natural language processing!
