New things, New understanding!

In the past week, I have been researching deep learning, reinforcement learning, and specific models such as Diffusion Convolutional Neural Networks and Generative Adversarial Networks through my annotated bibliography and research assessment. In my research, I was able to understand much more about each subject by understanding the different applications, the current advancements, and the theory of each of these different concepts. It brought me a new perspective as I continue to search for another main category to learn more about natural language processing and Transformer models. I think I will also shift my focus to researching the practicality of the topic that I choose to pursue as that will be a major factor for its implications on my Original Work and Final Product in ISM 2.

As I continue to learn more about the different types of algorithms, models, and parts of machine learning, I will make sure to look at industry practices and products that use these concepts to understand my interest in the fields with a practical perspective. Moreover, I think last week's research has helped me realize that computer vision is still one of the fields that I strongly like, and can possibly pursue the topic again. However, I still want to keep my options open with this week's research in order to explore machine learning and its different applications through various subfields.
