Research Interviews and Meeting Professionals!

As the title suggests, meeting new professionals with experience in natural language processing and machine learning is my primary goal for the next few weeks. As I start to deeply research the multiple topics in natural language processing (NLP) such as semantics, sentiment analysis, and text generation, I aspire to broaden my understanding through the experiences and learnings of professionals who already explored NLP in machine learning. Furthermore, with research interviews, I will understand more about the topic as well as the profession of a machine learning engineer. In this ongoing process, I have already started contacting many professionals to learn more about them and their work in the field!

With the ISM Business Symposium coming up in a few days, I am very excited to expand my networks and get more opportunities to contact professionals in the field through the multiple panels and networking stations. Furthermore, I also plan to continue to do my own independent research regarding the technologies being used already for natural language processing such as transformers, recurrent neural networks, and long-short term memory models. This way I will enhance my learning and use the knowledge to obtain more specific insight ad expertise from professionals about certain concepts and models in my research interviews.
